My name is Romney, though I go by many mispronounced names like Robby, Ronnie, and Rommy =P

I am currently attending FIU here in Miami. I plan to double Major in International Relations and International Law, with a minor in Anthropology. I hope to pursue a career in Diplomacy, work in the UN, and humanitarianism.

My background is Lebanese a heritage I most proud of, though I was born in Miami. I definitely miss the old country since I've read much about it but never seen it, but I do love it here too of course...to a degree.

I see myself as something of a Liberal =P. I am in support of Gay rights and marriage, legalization of MJ (even though it'll never happen here), abolishing capital punishment, and allowing Abortion (which I feel is up for a women to decide, not a bunch of old white men in Congress XD).

I am also something of a Pascifist, and not just cuz I can't fight. I am tolerant of any belief and opnion, so long as the one who shares it respects mine all the same.

I have zero tolerance for people who lack respect for myself or others, and I make a big deal over common courtesy (call me old fashioned).

I am a huge fan of nearly all things morbid, cultural, historical, political, international, and humanitarian. I see myself as a very open minded and cool (as in mellow) person and I love to meet new and interesting people.

As mellow as I'd want to be I could be a little too passionate about certain things and issues and got a tendency to be pretty big on emotions =P

I love to chat and get to know people as you can tell, so all feel free to give me a buzz. Big fan of debating and discussing philosophy, politics and all that good, stuff so feel free to roll up your sleeves on me too.

All people have good in them, and it is merely a question of empathizing and taking the time to look into them.

Forgiveness and a willingness to empathize with one another are all we need for peace.

Humans, as individuals or as whole, are capable of tremendous good as well as tremendous evil. We are blind to our own good, and we underestimate our capacity for love, kindness, and justice. We see only our flaws without acknowledging our strengths, and take into account our failures rather than our successes. Our cynicism is the only thing stopping us from fulfilling our incredible potential.

It is much easier to be critical of what you don't know then what you do know. So take the time to know what you have to say bad things about.
